An AI assistant for your home service business website
An AI assistant for home services answers the questions a homeowner asks before calling a tradesperson: do you cover my area, what does a call-out cost, can someone come this week. Maya, the AI of TryMaya, does this on the business's own website, by voice or text, at any hour, and sends you a callback or visit request with the details.
What homeowners ask a plumber, electrician or repair website
These are questions a homeowner typically types or says, often in the evening after the office has closed. Maya answers the ones your pages and notes cover. For the rest she says so, takes a number and adds the question to your list.
- "Do you cover my postcode?"
- "What is your call-out fee?"
- "Can someone come on Thursday?"
- "How much is a boiler service?"
- "Do you give written quotes?"
- "Is there a number I can call for an urgent job?"
An example, not a customer story
At nine in the evening a homeowner opens a plumbing firm's website on a phone and asks whether the firm covers their area and what a call-out costs. Maya answers both from the answers the owner taught her. The homeowner asks for a quote on a leaking tap, and Maya takes a phone number, reads it back and saves it after the homeowner says yes.
A minute later the owner has an email with a short summary: who, what is leaking, and that it is not urgent. The owner calls the next morning.
What Maya does on a home service website
- Answers from the facts you approved: the services you offer, the prices on your pages, your service area and your opening hours. What your pages never stated, such as the area you cover or the call-out fee, you teach her once.
- Gives only the prices and discounts your pages and notes state. In our prompt-injection test she refused to invent a 90% discount when a message asked her to.
- Takes a callback request for a quote. It needs a phone number or an email, makes one callback per conversation, and sends you an email and a dashboard alert.
- Captures the enquiry with a short summary: who the homeowner is, what they want and any urgency. She reads the details back and saves them only after the homeowner says yes, and the lead records the page it came from.
- Takes requests for an estimate or a service visit (Booking plan and above): the homeowner gives a day and a time, and you confirm or decline with one click from the email she sends you.
- Declines a visit time outside your opening hours and states the hours, and declines a slot that is already taken.
- Sends a reminder email before the visit, in the homeowner's language, with links to change the time or cancel. You choose 1, 2, 24 or 48 hours before; 24 is the default.
- Works at any hour. The lead email reaches you once the homeowner has confirmed their details, so the evening enquiry is waiting in the morning.
- Takes the homeowner to the right service page when they ask, scrolls to the price list, and opens a details window when her setup scan has checked that the button only opens a window.
- Re-reads the live page before she quotes a price, and reads only your own website.
- Answers in the homeowner's language by voice and by text (70+ languages), and translates a page in place when your site has no version in that language, labelled "Translated by Maya" with a "Show original" button.
- Offers visitors who arrive from an Instagram, Facebook or TikTok ad on Android to open the page in the phone's own browser, where voice works. Typed chat works in the meantime.
- Follows up by email with people who asked but did not book, collects private ratings after a job, and sends a public review request only when you have set a review link and turned it on (Booking plan and above).
- Shows you the questions homeowners asked that your site never answered, such as a service area or a call-out fee, and sends the weekly report (Booking plan and above).

What happens when she does not know
She says so, takes the homeowner's number and puts the question on your list. You answer once and she uses it for every homeowner after. If your pages carry an emergency number, she gives it when someone asks for one.
Questions people ask
Can Maya take a quote request?
Yes. She takes a callback request with a phone number or an email and a short summary of the job, reads the details back, and saves them after the homeowner says yes. You receive an email and a dashboard alert. She quotes only prices that your pages or notes state.
What about urgent jobs and evenings?
On the website she answers at any hour and the lead waits for you. Answering a phone line for urgent calls is part of Reception once the Maya phone line is activated. Until then, put your emergency number on your site and she gives it when asked.
Does she book visits into my diary?
On Booking and above she takes a visit request and you confirm it with one click, after which the homeowner gets a confirmation with a calendar invite and a reminder email. The invite opens in any calendar, Google and Outlook included.
I run more than one brand. Can I use one account?
Several websites under one account are part of Reception. Each website has its own Maya with its own approved facts.
What does it cost?
Connect €299, Booking €499, Reception €899 per month + VAT. 7-day trial, card needed, cancel in one click. Visit requests, reminder emails and review requests start on Booking. Phone answering is part of Reception.
