Install Maya on any website, and what she connects to
Maya installs on any website with one script tag, and on WordPress as a plugin. Connections to stores, CRMs and calendars come after the install, and each one works once you connect your account on the other platform. The table below shows what syncs where.
Platform by platform
| Platform | How it installs | What syncs |
|---|---|---|
| Any website | One script tag in the page template, or in the builder's code box. | Nothing beyond the widget. Maya reads your public pages when she scans. |
| WordPress | Plugin zip, Widget ID, consent box, then a one-time pairing code. Runs end to end on WordPress Playground. | Maya answers from your WordPress content. By default, after consent, the plugin also keeps a local llms.txt and a business-data snapshot on your own site; you can switch that off. |
| WooCommerce | The WooCommerce plugin zip and your Widget ID. | Live catalogue answers use a WooCommerce REST key that you create and paste. |
| Shopify | Script in theme.liquid, or the store connection from the dashboard (steps on the Shopify page). | Product, price and stock answers from the catalogue, through the store connection that you authorise from your Shopify account. Confirmed bookings are recorded in Shopify admin once the store is connected. |
| Wix | Custom Code, as above. | Booking write-back to Wix once your Wix account is connected. |
| Squarespace | Code Injection, as above. Paid plan. | Nothing beyond the widget. |
| Webflow | Footer code, as above. Paid Site plan. | Nothing beyond the widget. |
| GoHighLevel | Script in the funnel or website. A sub-account connects with GoHighLevel's standard sign-in. | Calendar slots, bookings and, on Reception, leads as contacts. A lighter route posts each lead to a GoHighLevel inbound-webhook URL. |
| BigCommerce | Script Manager, as above. | The widget answers from your public pages. |
| Square Online | Tracking Tools, as above. | The widget answers from your public pages, and a catalogue connection to Square is available once your Square account is connected. |
Install anywhere with one script tag
Your Widget ID is in the dashboard under Widget and Embed. The line you paste looks like this:
<script src="https://trymaya.live/widget.js" data-widget-id="YOUR_WIDGET_ID" async></script>
In a hand-built site, paste it on a new line just before the closing body tag of the page template, then save and upload. After the install, press "Check my site now" in the setup screen and Maya confirms she found her script on your site. Framer, Duda, HubSpot and plain HTML have steps in the setup screen too.
Squarespace
Code Injection needs a paid plan: Core, Plus or Advanced, and some legacy plans. Squarespace checkout pages do not take this code.
- Open Settings, then Advanced, then Code Injection. If you cannot find it, try Website, then Website Tools.
- Paste the script into the Footer box.
- Click Save and open your site in a new tab.
Webflow
Custom code needs a paid Site plan. Free .webflow.io sites cannot publish custom code.
- Open your project, then Site settings, then the Custom code tab.
- Paste the script into Footer code. Do not paste any html, head or body tags.
- Click Save changes, then Publish. Saved custom code goes live only after you publish.
Wix
Wix needs the site published with a connected domain before Custom Code works.
- Open the site dashboard, then Settings, then Custom Code under Development and integrations, and choose Add Custom Code.
- Paste the script, name it Maya, choose All pages, load once per visit, and place it at Body - end.
- Click Apply.
Shopify
- In your Shopify admin, open Online Store, then Themes, then Edit code, then theme.liquid.
- Paste the script just before the closing body tag and save.
GoHighLevel
- Open the funnel or website, then its Settings.
- Paste the script into the tracking code box in that Settings tab (Maya's setup screen shows the exact label) and save.
- Repeat for each funnel or website. A cloned funnel does not copy the code, so paste it again.
BigCommerce
- In the control panel open Storefront, then Script Manager, then Create a Script.
- Name it Maya. Choose Footer, All pages, category Essential and type Script, so the widget ID attribute stays intact. Keep it off checkout and payment pages.
- Paste the script and save. Headless or custom storefronts need the storefront developer to confirm script support.
Square Online
- In the Square Dashboard open Online, then Settings, then Tracking Tools, then Add new code.
- Name it Maya, paste the script, choose End of body and save.
- Go back to the site editor and click Publish. This is Square Online, not Squarespace.
The WordPress plugin
On WordPress you can upload the plugin zip instead: Plugins, Add New Plugin, Upload Plugin, then activate Maya Voice Assistant. Open Settings, then Maya, paste your Widget ID and tick the external-service consent box. Maya then appears on every page. To pair the site, enter the one-time connection code from your dashboard. It is 43 characters long, lasts 15 minutes, is shown once and works once. It runs end to end on WordPress Playground, and you install the zip from your dashboard. The WooCommerce plugin works the same way and can also read your live catalogue once you paste a WooCommerce REST key.

Stores and agency platforms
Shopify, Wix and GoHighLevel have their own pages with the connection steps and what Maya reads and writes. None of them is a one-click app from an app store today. For BigCommerce and Square Online the script install works, and the catalogue connections are described in the table above. Agencies installing for several clients should read Maya for agencies.
Notifications, calendars and the Leads page
- Leads page. Every confirmed lead appears in Maya's built-in Leads page on every plan, and the owner can export them as CSV.
- Email to the owner for every confirmed lead, plus callback requests, the weekly report (Booking and above) and usage warnings at 80, 90 and 95 percent of the voice minutes.
- Follow-up emails to visitors go out as "your business via TryMaya" with a working unsubscribe link (Booking and above).
- Calendar invites. Every confirmed booking emails a calendar file (.ics) to the owner and the customer. The file opens in any calendar. Bookings are written back into GoHighLevel, Wix, Shopify or WooCommerce once that account is connected.
CRM and webhooks
- HubSpot gets a contact, Salesforce gets a lead and Pipedrive gets a person. The key is tested before it is saved, and failed pushes are retried. CRM sync is a Reception feature.
- GoHighLevel inbound webhook. Paste a GoHighLevel workflow webhook URL and each lead is posted to it, with no app install.
- "Lead captured" webhook. The event Maya sends is lead captured, as a JSON post with the lead's details. On Reception it is set up through the API, and tools such as Zapier, Make and n8n can receive it.
Owner tools in ChatGPT and Claude
An owner can connect ChatGPT or Claude to their Maya account through a sign-in and consent screen. Five tools are available: an activity summary, new leads, open questions, answering a question and listing workspaces. How the sign-in works is on the security page, and the public side of the connection is on getting found by AI.
Questions people ask
Which websites can run Maya?
Any site where you can add one script tag to the pages. The setup screen has steps for Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, GoHighLevel, Framer, Shopify, WordPress, Duda, HubSpot and plain HTML. WordPress also has a plugin.
Do I need a paid website plan to install Maya?
On Squarespace and Webflow, yes: custom code is a paid-plan feature on both. Wix needs the site published with a connected domain. For other builders, check the platform's own current rules before you buy a plan for it.
Do I install Maya from an app store?
You install Maya yourself from your dashboard, with the script tag or the plugin zip, in about ten minutes. There is no app-store approval to wait for.
Which CRMs does Maya send leads to?
On Reception: HubSpot as a contact, Salesforce as a lead and Pipedrive as a person. GoHighLevel gets contacts through its sub-account connection or a workflow webhook. Every plan keeps leads in Maya's own Leads page and emails the owner.
Can I connect Maya to Zapier, Make or n8n?
Maya sends one event, lead captured, as a webhook with the lead's details. On Reception it is set up through the API, and Zapier, Make and n8n can receive it.
What does it cost?
Connect €299, Booking €499, Reception €899 per month + VAT. 7-day trial, card needed, cancel in one click. Connect covers one website. Several websites and CRM sync are on Reception.
